Lovely cosy house in an absolutely natural setting

Description

Stone house located in the village of Antas de Ulla, Lugo is less than 1km from the river Ulla in a beautiful area with a high valley, between old stone mills and trout area. Completely restored in 2010, following the guidelines of the "Vatsu Shastra" (Hindu Feng Shui). 

The ground floor consists of kitchen with office and own entrance, with all appliances and cupboards. Bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large built-in wardrobe, hallway with access to a second bathroom, living room with fireplace and main door leading to the porch. This floor has a huge pane of glass along the kitchen and living room that extends along the entire facade providing continuity between the interior and the garden.

The porch is supported by beautiful stone columns, having outdoor furniture and trellises with jasmine and wisteria.

The upper floor is a large single space with a large built-in wardrobe and three windows, which serves as a bedroom (with a double bed), study tables, reading corner and so on. 

The property faces north-east, east and south-east. It is extensively luminous. The ceilings throughout the house are oak wood, of excellent quality. It is sold furnished and with blue heat heating in all rooms. The one-metre thick exterior walls provide warmth in winter and coolness in summer. All the windows in the house are made of white aluminium and double glazing.

The garden has a woodshed, covered parking for the car, a large shed of 28m2, a small wooden house (with tools and machines such as a brush cutter, lawn mower and cultivator) and a small wooden vegetable garden as well. There are about thirty trees, half of them fruit trees, which provide, among other fruits, delicious plums. In the orchard there are strawberries and many other plants and flowers such as hydrangeas, wisteria and rhododendrons. 

There is a small stone pond of approx. 7m2 with a waterfall and goldfish. It has its own well with good, deep water and has the possibility, if desired, to connect to the mains. 

The situation of the house is very good, as it is the last one in the village, being totally independent and surrounded by countryside and woods. It is approximately 40km from Lugo, 60km from Ourense and 80km from Santiago de Compostela. It is 2km from the village of Antas de Ulla and 3km from Monterroso, which has a health centre, secondary school, library, supermarkets and other facilities.
